SATURDAY - ONLINE
10 classes: Saturdays September 19 - November 21: 10am- 1pm PT, 1pm-4pm ET, 6pm-9pm BT
Based on Yat Malmgren’s extraordinary technique to guide actors beyond their usual repertoire into deeply truthful, yet unrecognizable character transformation, this is a new class for actors and returning students who have familiarity with the basics of the work. Students work with Tom to create two Inner Attitudes characters and text in the fall term. Students are invited to continue into 2027 Winter and Spring Terms to complete all six Inner Attitudes characters - Stable, Mobile, Adream, Awake, Near and Remote.
This class series culminates in the creation of a one-person show, based on these six characters. This was a tradition previously established at the Drama Centre in London. Tom has continued this tradition in his teachings internationally.
The class will be taught by Tom in Spain, with Pamela Hollings, and assisted by Miranda Bentley. This accommodates students spending time with teachers in individual work rooms.
The class time also invites more international students to participate.
