INNER ATTITUDE SERIES LOS ANGELES: In Person
Friday 6:30-9:30pm, Saturday 11am-2pm, Sunday 11am-2pm
Each three day session will cover particular Inner Attitudes and their variations. While these Inner Attitudes involve deep personal investigation, the work on character transformation is immediately applicable to the emerging or professional actor. This YatBentley technique stretches the actor to new notes within, can be used for roles they are currently exploring, or applied to the immediate adaptations they are required to discover when in an audition. It can provide a very specific road map to developing the actor and director’s artistry and career.
Newer students will be introduced to the Inner Attitudes of Stable, Mobile, Near, Remote, Awake and Adream in relation to their own adaptive energies. More advanced students will create original characters from the confluence of drives forming the Inner Attitudes from the deepest internal level, leading to transformation.
Each month will focus on a particular inner attitude, culminating in using the inner attitude in scene exploration.
